However, it also includes a USB-C to USB-C cable, allowing it to be used on its own. In addition to its CFexpress 4.0 Type B card slot, it also features Windows and Mac compatibility, backward compatibility with CFexpress 2.0 Type B, and an aluminum finish for scratch resistance. If your system doesn't support the 40 Gb/s USB4 standard, this card reader is backward compatible with USB 2.0 and later, although it will operate with reduced transfer rates reflective of those standards.
