The OG-FiDO-TR-MM is a versatile and efficient openGear card that offers a wide range of video formats, from 150 Mbps to 3 Gbps, making it format agnostic. It has 1x3G-SDI BNC and 1x Multi-Mode LC Fiber inputs, as well as 1x3G-SDI BNC and 1xl Multi-Mode LC Fiber outputs. This card can be easily monitored through openGear DashBoard and has Input Present and Input SMPTE Lock LEDs for added convenience. It also has automatic detection and reclocking capabilities, supporting rates of 270 Mbps, 1.483 Gbps, 1.485 Gbps, 2.966 Gbps, and 2.970 Gbps, all of which are auto-selected. The nominal wavelength for this card is 850 nm and it consumes only 2.5 watts of power. It is also hot swap capable and compatible with OGX, OG3, and DFR-8321 openGear frames.
The OG-FiDO-TR-MM is a highly flexible and cost-effective solution for 3G-SDI Fibre conversion, supporting cable runs of up to 700 m (2296 ft) for OM4 and 300 m (984 ft) for OM3 for Multi-Mode fibre optic cables. This makes it an ideal choice for eliminating ground loop problems. It has both Fibre and 3G-SDI inputs, which are reclocked with best in class input jitter tolerance. It also supports Multi-Mode fibre cable and has independent signal paths that can be different rates. Additionally, it is compatible with other openGear products and can be accessed through Ethernet for overall frame communication. The modular rear panel allows for custom I/O connections and it has an optional redundant power supply for failsafe operation.
