Product Description
The ADA4 is a versatile 4-channel converter that can function as a 4-channel A/D, a 4-channel D/A, 2-channel A/D and 2-channel D/A, or an AES synchronizer. It features a full-time AES11 low jitter reference output and can accept various types of reference inputs such as AES11, wordclock, or video sync/color black for synchronization. The ADA4 also allows for adjustable audio levels through dipswitch control.
In addition, the ADA4 offers up to 4 channels of balanced analog to AES/EBU audio conversion and up to 4 channels of AES/EBU to balanced analog audio conversion. It comes with a supplied XLR breakout cable and can perform sample rate conversion between 96KHz and 48KHz. The device can be powered by 5-18VDC and its configuration can be easily adjusted through dipswitches.
