AJA's IPR-10G2-SDI is a SMPTE ST 2110 video and audio receiver featuring dual 10 GigE SFP+ cages that provide hitless switching for redundancy protection in critical distribution and monitoring applications and support for bridging HD signals over IP to 3G-SDI. The IPR-10G2-SDI includes dual 3G-SDI mirrored outputs with embedded eight-channel audio output and stereo audio output.

The IPR-10G2-SDI supports monitoring of SMPTE 2110 signals via 3G-SDI up to HD 60p. It receives SMPTE 2110 over 10 GigE connectivity, formats the data for output over 3G-SDI, and the associated audio from the video stream is extracted, synchronized, and embedded into the 3G-SDI signal and also output on an analog RCA interface.

This design of the IPR-10G2-SDI supports seamless integration into existing baseband environments such as master control, trucks or edit suites. Rugged, fanless, this AJA Mini-Converter's design is ideal for placement in a wide range of display scenarios, from studios to field.
