The TR100 serves to contact the talent from an intercom station or allows monitoring program signal, where a
full size intercom belt pack with headset is not needed or intended. The user may hear commands for calls to
the stage or the intercom signal.
The talent receiver uses the same 3 pin xlr connector as any partyline component and a 3.5 mm (1/8th”)
monaural/binaural jack for connection to any earpiece or headphone.
A miniature Neutrik steel case houses a full power headphone amplifier that allows operation of any
conventional earpiece or headphone from 8 ohms up to 600 ohms. Volume is independent of headphone
impedance. A durable steel belt clip is a worthy feature.
Volume is controlled via a rotary potentiometer. If necessary, minimum volume may be adjusted to -40 dB level by an internal jumper. This feature prevents missing a call from the intercom. To access the jumper, two screws of the xlr connector need to be removed.
The TR100 Talent Receiver is powered by any axxent intercom component with the necessary dc voltage. Because it uses standard partyline intercom principle, it may also be used with components of other intercom manufacturers.
