Product Description

Maximize the monitoring options of the FX5 with the Sony DVF-EL1 Electronic Viewfinder. A high-quality 0.58" 7.08m-dot OLED display is used which has a 0.90x magnification. This dedicated EVF mounts directly to the top of the camera via a proprietary port and has two 1/4"-20 screws to secure it. It can also tilt upwards 90° for more flexible monitoring positions.

Users should be aware that due to the location of the EVF connector and its proximity to the Multi Interface Shoe that the EVF and XLR Handle Unit cannot be used at the same time.

The detachable OLED viewfinder features a wide color gamut equivalent to DCI-P3 with 10-bit color support. IT also enables HDR monitoring.

The display has a 0.90x magnification and there are two shooting options: Standard and Zoom Out. The Zoom Out option provides enhanced visibility.

Vertical tilt is possible from 0-90°. The eyepiece cup is detachable and can be reversed for left- or right-eyed shooting. Additionally, removing the cup allows for closer viewing which may be a benefit for users wearing glasses.

The viewfinder comes with a protective cap for the terminals and this cap can be stored in the viewfinder body when not in use.
